Network of Global Corporate Control

This is a study published by a group of investigators working at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. It analyzes the structure of the network of global corporate control, and its effects over market competition and financial stability.

Among other data, it shows that “4/10 of the control over the economic value of TNCs (transnational corporations) in the world is held, via a complicated web of ownership relations, by a group of 147 TNCs in the core”
